Dow City:

Beginning on Fulton Street at the west corporation line; thence northeast on Fulton Street to the east corporation line.

Due to the review of our Primary Road System records, US 30 in Crawford County should be deleted from the Primary System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

US 30 begins at the Crawford‑Harrison County line approximately 7 miles southwest of Dow City and travels in a northeasterly and easterly direction via Dow City, Arion, Denison, Vail and Westside, Iowa to the Crawford‑Carroll County line at Westside, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate US 30 and its extensions in Crawford County as follows:

Beginning on the Crawford‑Harrison County line at a point approximately 400 feet west of the SE Corner Section 34‑T82N‑R41W, Crawford County (NE Corner Section 3‑T81N‑R41W, Harrison County); thence in a northeasterly direction along the south side of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad and substantially parallel thereto through Sections 34, 35, 26, 25, and 24‑T82N‑R41W and Sections 19, 18, 17, 8, and 9‑T82N‑R40W to the west corporation line of the City of Dow City, connecting with an unnamed street.
